Private Swim Lessons are offered at Splash Landings Indoor Aquatic Center. Private Swim Lessons are 30 minute lessons for $36/$41.

3. Select “+” to add the reservation to your cart.

Claire Forsberg

Claire is a confident instructor who can teach all age groups. Claire is currently on the Glenbrook South swim team. Claire found her love for swimming at a young age and was competitively swimming by 8 years old. Before joining the Glenview Park District team, Claire gained experience teaching swim lessons through Glenbrook South’s previous Learn2Swim program and Swim America. She is a passionate swimmer who loves working with kids. As a swim instructor, Claire is most excited to help young kids find their own love and passion for swimming – just like she did. Claire is confident and comfortable teaching all levels of swim lessons.

Ania Gebicz

Ania is a skilled swimmer most comfortable and experienced with teaching preschool and youth levels. Having have taken swim lessons since she was just four months old, and following through to swim competitively on the swim team at seven years old, Ania has a cumulative amount of over twelve years of swimming experience. Her favorite stroke to both swim and teach is backstroke. She values each student’s individual and unique needs and emphasizes the importance of adapting to their level of skill. She is currently a student at Glenbrook North High School, and is passionate about working with young kids to help them build their confidence and skills in the water. Ania is also a certified lifeguard, has her ECE (Early Care and Education) level one credential, and is fluent in polish.

Anna Gordon

Anna is a confident instructor who feels she can teach all age groups. She attends Glenbrook South High School as a Junior and is part of the swim school team. She started swimming at age of 5 at Glenbrook South and moved to on to being part of the Glenview Titan Aquatic Club (GTAC). Her favorite strokes to teach is Butterfly and breastroke. Anna enjoys teaching kids of all ages and makes sure they have fun while learning new skills.

Maria Lillig

Maria is an experienced swimmer with a passion for teaching others. She swam competitively for seven years for Big Blue Aquatics and Glenbrook Swim Club, competing at the Illinois Age Group State Championship twice in butterfly. She also swam for Glenbrook South’s Varsity swim team her freshman year and competed at the sectional meet. Outside of teaching lessons, Maria is a senior at Glenbrook South High School, a TLC tutor, and leader of Unidos (GBS Latino Club). She strives to create a welcoming environment in the pool that prioritizes the importance of swimming as a life-saving skill while also recreating the fun she had as a young swimmer. She focuses on teaching creative and effective drills that help the swimmers develop the correct technique and speed. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Eve is currently a Sophomore at Glenbrook South High school who plays both Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She started swimming at a young age and spent several years swimming competitively on the Glenbrook Aquatics and Glenbrook Swim Club teams. She always strives to inspire confidence in her swimmers by teaching them in a patient and detail-oriented manner. She is passionate about sharing her love for swimming with kids of all ages. Eve’s goal is to make learning to swim as fun and educational as possible so that her kids look forward to coming back to see her for each lesson.

Alex Kanellos

Alex is a sophomore at Glenbrook South High School who has been working for the Glenview Park District since the beginning of the summer in 2022. She is someone who takes pride in her ability to hold lessons that are not only effective in getting progression from her students, but also a great time! She spends a huge portion of her free time around water, but usually in a boat! Alex is a sailor for sport and for fun. Alex prefers to work with students over the age of 6 and can teach all skill levels. Alex hopes that she is able to build positive relationships with her students while also improving their strokes!
